About Me
Born and raised in central Ohio, I grew up in an arts focused family. My father was a high school librarian, my mother a former band teacher, both lovers of the arts instilled a passion for music at a young age. I found theatre after my father took over the high school drama department. I found my passion for technical theatre tinkering and playing around in the high school scene shop. This lead to a life long passion for building scenery and all things technical theatre. I attended Kent State University and quickly started working in the scene shop. Over the years at Kent I really learned the basics of being a Technical Director. I went from Kent State right onto graduate school at University of Missouri Kansas City. Aside from theatre I enjoy reading, movies, hiking the great outdoors, and the company of family & friends. I am also a college football fan, Go Buckeyes!
I am currently serving as Assistant Professor of Professional Practice of Technical Theatre and Technical Director at the University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio.
